Post Race Analysis | How Momentum Defined the Race

In this video, I walk through a post-race analysis using TopRate, focusing on how race shape and momentum influenced the outcome.

Using Caulfield Race 9 over 1400m as the example, I break down the race through:  

• Speed and sectional ratings
• Early tempo and mid-race pressure points
• How momentum was built and lost at key stages
• What the data tells us about the form of the horses coming out of the race.  

This is an example of how I use post-race data to move beyond the result itself and better understand how a race was run and what can be taken forward into future form analysis.
